Formerly known as the Microstock Photography Forum, the newly revamped and revitalized Talkmicro is devoted for stock photographers who sell photos online. The microstock business is a competitive one. Established photographers earn lucrative income from selling their works on stock photography sites while most other photographers barely make it. Rejections in stock photography sites stem mainly from the fact they accept only the highest-quality images that conform to strict submission standards. Talkmicro provides a forum where insightful ideas and experiences by members can be shared. So far, the site has 525 members and over 2,000 topics ranging from the business aspects of photography to the art of creating saleable images. There is also a section where members can choose a photo assignment, and request constructive criticism on rejected images.
